Meet your guide in front of the Basilica Ticket Office. It is on the square, 50 meters to the right from the steps of Saint Stephen's Basilica, next to the Starbucks coffee shop. Your tour guide will hold a sign "GUIDED TOUR". If the line is long at the ticket office, the tour guide will stay a few meters away from the crowd, near Starbucks, so as to be seen better.

    Named in honor of the first King of Hungary, the St Stephen's Basilica is the third-largest church building in Hungary and one of its most significant tourist attractions. This Neo-Classical style basilica features a 9-tonne bell, the Saint Stephen's relief of Károly Senyei, mosaics by Bertalan Székely and Mór Than, and an accessible dome offering a 360° view overlooking Budapest.

  • The meeting time for receiving the tickets is from Monday to Saturday at 11:30 am or 1:30 pm, on Sunday at 1:30 pm
  • The church is open until 5:00 pm every day
