We may be Amsterdam’s smallest bike tour company, but that’s exactly our charm! We keep our groups to no more than 12 people, ensuring a fun, safe experience with plenty of personal attention.
Join us for a leisurely 18-mile (30 km) countryside ride, a refreshing escape from the buzz of the city. You’ll learn about the Netherlands’ never-ending battle against the water while cycling over embankments below sea level—literally seeing how we stay dry.
Pedal through quaint farmer and fishing villages, spotting our version of a “big five” along the way—(spoiler alert: it’s all about the cows!). Midway, we’ll pause in the picture-postcard village of Holysloot to enjoy a well-earned break and the tastiest slice of apple pie around. It’s the perfect pick-me-up before continuing to our favorite local windmill, a centuries-old landmark dating back to 1792!

Very relaxing and enjoyable, highly recommended. Sipko, our tour guide, was very informative and fun! We fed cows, stopped to see a windmill, rode over the Dike, and had a wonderful slice of Dutch apple pie. It was a great way to see the countryside.

We had an incredible time, our host wa: kind, knowledgeable, and make the tour exciting. It’s a little bit of a tough ride at times especially if you are an older couple. The scenery is unreal, out in the countryside is so green, so lush and we got lucky with a sunny day. I’m so happy we listened to the advice of a friend to take this tour. Was so worth it

Excellent tour, we learned s few interesting things about Dutch history and infrastructure. We saw some beautiful countryside, ate delicious apple pie and had a great time cycling. Our guide, William, was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting as a group.

William was our guide, he was great! We had a super small group of 4 on our tour. I hadn’t biked much plus had an existing injury and while it was challenging, William made sure to wait/slow down to keep the group together. There were several stops for pictures and breaks. The half way stop was so beautiful and the pie is a must. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to see outside the city and learn more about Amsterdam.
This tour takes place in the Waterland region, north from Amsterdam. Hop on and ride your bike through this gorgeous area of the typical polder landscapes and farmlands below sea level.
Ride your bike through old fishermen villages and learn about water management and how the Dutch manage to live below sea level.
We are halfway through the tour when we arrive in Holysloot, a tiny farmer's village in the middle of the countryside. Time for a break at the love restaurant 'het Schoolhuis', in the former school of the village. The apple pie served here is world famous in the area and great fuel for the rest of our tour!
You will learn about the interesting history of the 80-years war between Holland and Spain and see the tower of Ransdorp, the oldest building in the area.
What would a countryside tour in Holland be without seeing a windmill? Indeed! At the end of our tour you will pass by this gorgeous windmill from 1792 and learn about the old mill industry of Holland.
