On selected dates throughout the year, the castle offers an array of spectacular shows: marvel at more than 60 birds of prey as they soar in the sky or learn more about the ancient sport of archery with a skilled bowman!

    Nestled on the banks of the River Avon, Warwick Castle is a medieval fortress with over 1,000 years of history waiting to be discovered. Built by Willian the Conquerer in 1068, you’ll get to explore the castle’s well-preserved towers and chambers, including the Great Hall with its remarkable armour and relive aristocratic life through lifelike wax figures.

  • Please note that only the grounds of Warwick Castle are currently open, the Castle is temporarily closed due to Tier 3 Covid-19 restrictions

  • Don't visit if you are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms. All guests are required to undertake a non-contact temperature check as a condition of entry
  • Admire the world’s largest siege engine, The Mighty Trebuchet or learn more about the ancient sport of archery
  • Face coverings are compulsory for guests over the age of 11 in all indoor areas
  • Explore 64 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens
  • To ensure your safety, no cash will be accepted at the attraction. Be prepared to make contactless card payments onsite
  • Social distancing measures have been put in place around the Castle and Grounds. Make sure to keep 2m apart from other groups at all time
  • Interactive areas and/or indoor attractions can either be temporarily unavailable or modified

  • Children under the age of 3 can enter for free with an accompanying adult
  • Warwick Castle has a number of steps, narrow passageways and low doorways which can present a challenge to guests with reduced mobility. Should you require any further assistance during your visit, please speak to a member of the team onsite
  • Your ticket is valid for daytime entry to Warwick Castle. If you need to leave the Castle, ask an attendant at the turnstiles entrance to stamp your hand and this will enable re-entry later on in the day. Your ticket will not allow re-entry
