Parisian since my birth, I left Paris 5 years ago... Leaving the metro that day in Ile de la Cité, under the sun, Notre Dame appeared to me more beautiful than ever! Thanks to April I discovered her in another light. The façade with gothic arches, the large carved portal, the statues of the kings...April explains the story with anecdotes. Entering a silence is necessary, a moment out of time, the superb stained glass windows reflect a colorful light...April shows us details never noticed before. Then we leave this haven of peace, towards the Pont Saint Michel spanning the Seine, to reach the Saint Germain des Prés district with its lively streets, lined with bookstores, art galleries of cafes with lively terraces like the Procope, seat of many intellectuals of the time... I see this in a new light, April punctuating our steps with details about the size of the streets, their use, the porch of a building... A stop at Hermé to taste the delicious macarons ended this good afternoon. I felt like a real tourist, and I learned a lot of things... April thanks to her culture, her smile and her good humor takes us in her passion for Paris. To be done again... Thank you for this parenthesis

What a wonderful customized tour! April did a terrific job of matching us to a tour guide based on my description of our group, which was myself the aunt and then three nieces ages 18 to 25. Simone was fantastic, an actress who kept things fun and was flexible to our interests. She also was astute with using the metro. She met us at a restaurant nearby where we were staying. We toured Montmartre, Notre Dame and did some shopping. Simone connected wonderfully with all of my nieces, and they greatly enjoyed the day!

Our morning with April was the best start to our trip I could have imaged. It was my daughter's first time in Paris, and April so thoughtfully put together an experience that was unique to my daughter's interests (ballet), while also including eye-opening stories about the history of the city and practical advice for making the most of our time there. Every stop on the tour was brought to life by April's earnest passion for Paris and those who visit. Our shared excitement for all we were taking in together made for a whirlwind of goosebumpy and heartwarming memories. Our Favourite Things: The Galeries Lafayette Haussmann rooftop terrace overlooking Opéra Garnier View of the Eiffel Tower from The Trocadéro Stop at Repetto (designer of the first ballet slipper) Learning how to properly use the Metro (so helpful for the rest of the trip) April's suggestion that we do a taste test of Ladurée & Pierre Hermé (mmmm)

April is delightful and very informative! She was such a joy to be with and knew so much about the area we toured in Paris! She knows so much about the history, food and snack recommendations and pretty much any recommendations over Paris. We will be using her again when we come back!
