The departure place is the Sihlquai Bus Station (Limmatstrasse 2), located behind the train station, in front of the Hotel Fred. Jungfraujoch is an impressive glacier saddle in the Bernese Alps, in Switzerland, connecting two recognisable mountain peaks, Jungfrau and Mönch. The site is reachable from Interlaken by the Jungfrau line, a railway running partly through the Eiger mountain. The construction of the railway line started in 1896 and is one of the most renowned Swiss tourist attractions.
