Discover the extraordinary richness of the Jardin des Plantes, an institutional botanical garden created in the 17th century.With your guide, you will discuss the history of the site from its origins as a royal garden of medicinal plants to the current garden, nowadays used for research and scientific discoveries. We will visit different areas of the gardens, depending on the season and the state of flowering, such as the garden of stones and rocks, the irises and perennials garden, the alpine garden, the garden of peonies and the labyrinth.Our garden tours are pleasant strolls through the green patches of Paris. Your guide will discuss the garden design as well as its history and relationship with the city and the surrounding monuments, while letting you enjoy its main perspectives and presenting to you a selection of rares species and remarkable trees.
