    • The Colors of the Ancient: Santarelli Marbles at the Capitoline Museums

      Learn about the use of colored marble, from its origins to the twentieth century, through a fine selection of pieces from the Santarelli Foundation. In the first room, there are 82 polychrome fragments, a head of Dionysus mounted on a female bust, and much more.
