Captain Jack Amsterdam – Departure Point at Rijksmuseum General Directions Our departure point is located just across from the Rijksmuseum. When you’re standing with your back to the Rijksmuseum, look straight ahead and you’ll see a bridge. We’re on the left side of that bridge. Keep an eye out for our crew in pink clothing, pink lamp post signs, and a large pink Captain Jack Amsterdam flag. To make your trip even smoother, we have partnered with Uber! Get off at the Vijzelgracht station (this is the 2nd stop from Central Station). Exit the station following the signs toward Museumplein (Museum Square). Once you’re at street level, face the large roundabout and walk right, following the tram tracks for about 300 meters. Continue along the tram tracks until you see a small bridge on your left—you’ll spot our boat and crew from there. From Leidseplein (Leidse Square) Face towards the Apple Store and turn your back towards the Burger King. Turn left and follow the tram tracks. Walk straight ahead, passing four large villas on your right. Right after those villas, turn right onto the bridge. You’ll see our boats and crew waiting for you there.
