The most recent part of the Palace was added at the beginning of the 20th century, and the only remaining part dating back to the Medieval Times is the Chapel or Burgkapelle.

    The Prater, situated in the heart of the city, is Vienna's largest public park and is also home to one of the oldest amusement parks in the world.     The Belvedere Palace features not only one but two palaces, the Upper and Lower Belvedere separated by an extensive main garden situated over three terraces. This immense summer residence was built in the 18th century for the Prince and is famous for it's stunning Baroque architecture designed by Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt.

    Kunsthistorisches Museum is Vienna's Museum of Fine Arts housed in a palatial complex with an iconic octagonal dome adorning the museum. Found on Ringstraße, this is Austria's largest art museum - definitely worth a visit or even a guided tour for true art lovers.

    The Imperial Treasury in the Hofburg is one of the most important sights in Vienna. It displays parts of the former collections of the House of Habsburg-Lothringen with the highest dynastic or religious significance, such as the crown of the Holy Roman Empire and the Austrian imperial crown.
