Travel through city to Tigre where you board boat and go up along the Delta. When return, short stop at markets (which were fairly boring), but recommend Havanas there for a drink and bite to eat. Get dropped off at various points to make pur own way back to Hotel. Picked up again in the evening for dinner and Tango Show. Evening was too long, so bored by end of show and it was late so quite tired (old age catching up lol ) But lovely day, fabulous guide

The tour was nice except that I had some trouble trying to locate the meeting point at Tangol ! The dinner was intetesting with some traditional dishes like breaded steak and Malbec pear in wine. The Tango show was simply awesome. Better than i expected. All in Good value for money.

Booked the tour for the afternoon (as getting off a ship in the morning), only to find an email stating the pick-up was from a different hotel that morning. Eventually got through on the phone, and they moved the tour to the afternoon but we had to go to their office. The outward journey is very slow, with the interesting boat trip taking just over an hour. The return in a lot quicker, with them dropping us off 5 blocks from our hotel. A bit hectic getting ready for the evening in an hour, as we had to walk round to another hotel for pick-up. Again the hotel pick-ups are slow 1.5hrs (would be better to take a taxi direct), the meal was good and the 1.5hr show great although views from back are not good. The hotel drop off at the end was a lot quicker 30 mins. Overall good value.

Tango dance hall was too crowded. We were assigned seating in the balcony with extremely poor dinner service. The dinner hall was terribly congested. The waiter was demanding tips even though the service was poor. Not even water was served to guests sitting in the balcony. The show itself was ok, though not as good as advertised. The trip to delta was ok.

Dear Time_traveler1974, We are truly sorry to hear about your misfortune. We are going to relay the information to the Tango house so they can see what happened, in order to improve their dinner service. Apart from this misfortune, we are glad you enjoyed the show, one of the best of Buenos Aires. Thank you for your review, it always helps us to improve our services. Best regards,
You’ll be picked up from your hotel either in the morning or afternoon (as advised upon booking) or, if your hotel is outside the pickup area, meet your guide in central Buenos Aires.
Board a bus and drive along Costanera Avenue to San Isidro. Once there, see its cathedral and the many mansions inhabited by old aristocratic families before continuing on to Tigre.
We will pass by this famouse neighborhood.
Here, you will board a catamaran for a 40-minute cruise through the delta. See how people live on the islands and interact with floating services: the supermarket boat, water taxi and more. See the homes built on stilts and President Sarmiento’s home/museum.
At the end of the boat ride, return to port to re-board your coach for the drive back to Buenos Aires, where you tour ends downtown at either 1pm or 6pm (approxiimately).
After hotel pickup, head to the neighborhood of San Telmo, considered the birthplace of tango and the oldest barrio in Buenos Aires. Ypu'll arrive at a conventillo, a historic tenement where La Ventana takes place.
You'll get there before the show to enjoy a delicious three-course dinner including a variety of Argentine and international dishes, accompanied by Argentine wines. Then, it's time for the show as two tango orchestras and an Argentine folk music group play while talented couples dance on stage with sensuality and breathtaking precision.
Listen to different styles of music played by the bands and sung by the singers. The show ends with a moving tribute to Eva Perón.
After this great day, you'll be dropped off back at your hotel.
