The city is very beautiful, but unfortunately there are also things that are not beautiful: all over the city there are smashed shop windows; for months in France there have been demonstrations against raising the pension from 62 to 64 years, and last week there were right here in Rennes. They smashed the windows of all the banks, without exception, and most of the clothing stores. You can see many shop windows hit by sticks, and many windows covered with plywood. It's still essential to prepare for the rain. It rains a lot in this area.
