The tour will begin by visiting Piazza Stesicoro, where you'll admire the roman amphitheater, dating back to the 2nd century.You'll then reach via dei Crociferi, one of the most beautiful baroque streets of Italy, full of churches, passing by via Etnea. On the north side of the street, there is Villa Cerami portal (which today hosts the law faculty) and on the south side, the San Benedetto arch.The tour continues with the visit of Piazza Università where there is the majestic Central University Palace.You'll then go to Piazza Vincenzo Bellini, where the famous opera house Teatro Massimo is, and to Piazza Duomo. Here you'll see the Cathedral and the “liotru” (the elephant, symbol of the city). Finally, you'll reach Ursino Castle (which today hosts Catania’s civic museum) passing by the fish market.
