During this visit you will discover the different faces of Nîmes, exploring part of its historic center but also a more contemporary district.
Along the way, stops at merchants will allow you to taste around ten of our local specialties: brandades, olives, tapenade, regional cheeses, ice cream and other delicacies... Come hungry, all the snacks will constitute a hearty meal. You will also spend some time in the market halls and meet the traders who bring this covered market to life, the true “belly of” Nîmes.

Enjoyable and informative food tour with a wonderful guide!

We greatly enjoyed our tour with Celine learning the history of Nimes and sampling food from the region. We tried a selection of breads and pastries, brandade de nimes, ice cream, wine, and much more. Celine spoke very good English which we greatly appreciated. She gave us some ideas of other activities in the area as well. I highly recommend this experience.

Celine gave us a wonderful introduction to fascinating Nimes. We tasted delicious local produce from a range of authentic shops whilst being shown the best historical and cultural sites. Our guide was knowledgeable and had excellent English. Definitely one of the best tours I have done!

Our lovely guide was so knowledgeable and taught us some wonderful history of the area. She shared art and so many different foods. We had a full meal and delicious wine. The market was also amazing. Highly recommend!

Explore and discover the history of the Halles de Nîmes, the covered market that has supplied the city for 140 years. After a tour of the market you will sit down to enjoy a glass of wine with different local specialties.
1 hourLet yourself be intoxicated by the chocolate smell of this boutique and discover how Charly combines chocolate with flavors from the South of France. It will also be an opportunity to discover the works of local artists.
25 minutesEnd your gastronomic exploration on a sweet and refreshing note with a delicious artisanal ice cream.
