Without this tour we would have never made it to all of the locations listed in a single day. Transportation alone made it worth the cost. However, in addition, our guide also spoke great English and gave us great information about all of our stops. Overall, this was exactly as advertised, which is great! Our lunch in Mundaka was especially great, and we appreciated the recommendation for a local dish.

Such a worthy tour! Our knowledgeable guide Pedro showed us the awesome environs of Bilbao. We hiked, walked through charming towns, ate good food, tasted wine, learned about Basque’s history and culture, and gained a lot of awesome impressions. Good vibes with the group, approachable guide, and variety of experiences. Worth your money and highly recommended.

The daywas long but very enjoyable. Aitor was a very good guide, knowledgable and able to swith languages expertly. All the sites visited were different and had their own special atmosphere. Be prepared for some exercise ????!

San Juan de Gaztelugatxe
On the guided tour of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, guests will enjoy a unique experience that combines history, nature, and culture.
During the tour, they will enjoy the coastal scenery while walking the panoramic trail and taking photos of the landscape.
They will climb the 241 steps and visit the hermitage at the summit, dedicated to Saint John the Baptist.
By the end of the tour, they will have a deeper appreciation for this iconic site and its historical and cultural connections.

Mundaka is a picturesque fishing village on the Basque coast, known for its natural beauty and famous harbor.
Its cuisine features dishes like marmitako (tuna stew) and clams a la marinera, as well as local pintxos and txakoli wine.
It’s the perfect place to enjoy traditional Basque flavors.

Dive into the history of Gernika, a place rich in memory and emotion.
On this walking tour, you will discover the air-raid shelters, the legendary Tree of Gernika, and the stunning mural reproducing Picasso's famous painting about the bombing.
You will also hear fascinating stories that have shaped this town, located in the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve.
2 hoursTo end the excursion on a high note, you will enjoy an exclusive txakolí tasting, one of the most emblematic wines of the Basque Country, at Bodega Berroja.
After this unique experience, we will return to Bilbao in the afternoon.

- During the months of January and February, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia will close the accesses to the hermitage of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. The viewpoints will remain open as normal.
