Don (or pack) your snow gear, then greet your guide in a central Zurich location and climb aboard a comfortable coach destined for Grindelwald. Receive a fascinating introduction to the Bernese Oberland region as you travel through the beautiful countryside then refresh during a brief interlude in Interlaken.
Travel onward to Grindelwald to board a gondola for a ride to the Eiger Glacier station, where you change for the cogwheel train. Marvel at dramatic mountain scenery during the ride up to Jungfraujoch. As you admire the jagged peaks of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains on the horizon, it’s easy to see why the area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
On arrival at the station, an impressive 11,332 feet (3,454 meters) above sea level, gaze at mind-expanding views of the Alpine wonderland around you, and then ascend to the Sphinx Observatory for even more magnificent panoramas. Try to spot the Aletsch Glacier, the Alps’ longest glacier, amid the craggy peaks, then enter the frozen tunnels of the Ice Palace and admire works of art carved from solid ice.
You may opt to enjoy a fulfilling meal at one of the many restaurants at the summit (own expense) before reboarding the train for the journey to Lauterbrunnen, where your coach awaits. Relax during the journey back to Zurich, where your tour concludes.

Takes you to the top of the Jungfrau mountain peak from Grindelwald by gondola. Amazing views and definitely worth the price.

I cannot begin to explain the amazement with this tour. Every stop was impressive and a new experience as a foreign traveller. The gondola ride on the Eiger Express to the rail train ride to the top on Jungfraujong was a great deal of fun. Once reaching the summit, my mind was blown with the views and I couldn’t believe we were up above the clouds…looking at lower peaks puncturing the clouds below while greater peaks ascended above us. For what it is worth, I wouldn’t waste a moment of time eating up top but rather take your time and experience every part of it to its fullest. Last, bring a portable charging pack because you do not want your phone to die while snapping pictures of something that will never do full justice of the majesty before your eyes. However, I believe viewing the picture t a later date will surely transport me back to one of my favorite days as a human being. It was like we were almost in heaven.

I just got back from an unforgettable trip to Jungfraujoch, and I’ve got to give a massive shoutout to our two rockstar tour guides, Angelar and Xiaoxia—seriously, can we clone them? They both amazingly caring and detail! You will never miss anything during the trip! Xiaoxia was fun and our Chinese speaking tour! She speak both English and Chinese well, she is also funny, and full of humor! Angelar tells us so much detail about each history, each town and stories behind each places, sometimes I felt I was in a moive while arching the beautiful scene and listening to their stories. The trip takes 2.5 hours one way, but we never felt tiring or boring! We really had great time in the alps mountains as well as inside the bus, train… Wish next time we can come back again!
