On this exclusive costume tour, you will immerse yourself in the world of the 17th century and discover the old town from a completely new perspective. You will accompany Jan Wellem on his tour of the city and listen to anecdotes and interesting facts from the past and present. Find out more about how he made Düsseldorf one of the most important art and culture metropolises in Europe.
The tour begins in the old town, from there Jan Wellem leads his "noble crowd of guests" along the old harbor to the banks of the Rhine and further through the streets and alleys of the historic old town. On this way, you can admire the most important highlights, such as the Lambertus Church and the castle tower. After 120 minutes, the tour ends back at the tourist information office: "Well, noble people and dear crowd of guests, that was my Düsseldorf as it is today and as it used to be!"
