Join Fishing Trips on MS Gamle Havstein, a classic boat that blends tradition with comfort, we invite you to explore the rich fishing grounds around Ålesund, Alnes, and Godøya. These trips are designed to provide an intimate and authentic experience, with a maximum of 12 guests per tour.
The journey begins in Ålesund’s picturesque harbor, offering panoramic views of the city’s Art Nouveau buildings and surrounding islands. From there, we sail to iconic locations like Alnes Lighthouse, celebrated for its dramatic setting and breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, and Godøya, a favorite spot for both fishing and nature photography.
Our experienced crew will guide you to the best fishing grounds, carefully chosen to match the season and weather conditions. Not only will you have the opportunity to fish, but you’ll also learn about coastal culture, how to clean your catch, and how to handle the fish. Of course, you can take your catch home as a delicious souvenir of the day.

An absolutely fantastic experience – nothing beats the thrill of catching your own fish while taking in the stunning views of Ålesund from the water. The boat was comfortable, the guiding was top-notch, and the excitement when the line tugs is something you have to feel for yourself! To top it all off, we got to enjoy our fresh catch – it truly doesn’t get any fresher than that. A brilliant day out, highly recommend!

Had a wonderful time with this crew. A great experience for the entire family. Thank you for making a cold day fun. Also thanks for the fresh shrimp Lunch.
The boat trip itself is an adventure, offering Sunnmøre’s spectacular landscapes as a backdrop. This is the perfect excursion for those interested in fishing, nature, photography, and history.
