Then board the bus to continue on to Florence.

Once you arrive in Florence, spend an hour of free time stretching your legs and shopping before meeting your group and guide at the Accademia Gallery to take in Michelangelo’s iconic “David”. Afterwards, take a walking tour of the city to cover A-list sights like the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and Piazza della Signoria while learning about Florentine history and architecture. Board the bus for a final stop at Piazzale Michelangelo to admire the view over the city before the drive back to Rome.

It is important to wear...

Julio_Z, Mar 2025

It is important to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Get ready to experience an amazing trip. Have your camera ready. We had an awesome tour guide and driver, they did a great job to make sure we enjoyed our time and come back safe and on time to our hotel. The first part of the ride was boring a very long stretch to the first city Pisa, but we got a quick stop for breakfast on the way. Excellent cappuccino and croissant by the way. We finally made it to Pisa. It was a beautiful sunny morning, we were able to take amazing photos of the leaning tower. Then we had an opportunity to shop in the plaza. After about 1 hour we headed to Florence that was another 2 hours of driving. When we got there it was time for lunch. Our guide took us to a good restaurant. We ordered the chicken with potatoes and a limoncello. From there we went to the museums. It was awesome to see the David sculpture made in marble by Michelangelo. The level of precision and details on the piece its out of this world. What a masterpiece, even when surrounded by hundreds of other sculptures nothing comes close. From there we made it to the cathedral of Florence, extraordinary building with a dome on top, later on we went to ponte vecchio, the oldest bridge in Europe, hundreds of years old, were the roman soldiers used to cross the Arno river. Our guide and driver came with us every minute of the tour explaining the history of each place. After a couple of hours of walking around the city we finally say goodbye to Florence and drove back to Rome. I was very tired but I truly enjoyed every second of the trip. Unforgettable memories i made with my wife in this trip. I fell in love again. Thank you Rome for this lovely trip.

It was a fun trip. You...

It was a fun trip. You will see the Italian countryside by car. Pisa is real nice and you will see beautiful sights. Our host recommended a restaurant in Florence that is spectacular. You will have leisure time in Florence, but once that is over, your guide will quickly rush you to see the sights. It is windy and much colder in Florence than in Rome, so dress comfortable in cooler weather

Aamazing tour

tcdevera, Mar 2025

This tour was nothing but amazing! We were picked up from our hotel (Ergife) and our guides were Julia and Arif. We had 2 minivans due to our larger party. They were so nice, professional, and very accommodating! It made our tour personalized. First stop was Pisa, Dome, Cathedral. Then drove to Florence. Once we got to Florence, we met w another guide, Rashi. We stopped at the Áccademia, where the statue of David was. It’s a must see and it’s included. Met w/ guide Giovanni there and stayed for an hr. We had some free time in between, but my party was a little eccentric, hence, the major accommodation. We roamed the Firenze and finally at the end of the day, we saw breathtaking panoramic views of Firenze. Uh-mazing. They are the best guides, always smiling and willing to take photos of us. It’s an all day tour. Again, Highly recommend!

She was informatively charming!

Dwayne_M, Mar 2025

Our driver Paolo and Florence Resident Manager, Rashi picked us up at the doorstep of our hotel and made my wife and 3 teens feel like royalty. The drive was pleasant as Rashi shared some historical facts of the regions between Rome and Florence. He graciously answered questions and debunked the difference between real Italian cuisine and the American perversions we have experienced like the fallacy of chicken parmigiana and chicken cacciatore, LOL. Pisa was good as he pointed to notable items like it being the hometown of Galileo, the students of Michelangelo created the Baptistery stained glass and other splendid facts…and as a fan of history I was thoroughly enjoying it. We had a bathroom/breakfast break in the ride to Florence and once we arrived we had some time for lunch. We went to the famous Mercato Centriale which has a market on the first floor and food court on the second floor. After lunch, we met our new tour guide, Alice whom was a native of Florence. She had a good grasp on the city, its history as she guided us through the streets to the Galleria dell’Accademia. She outlined the fallacy of Michelangelo’s 4 “unfinished” statues as they led to the David. We had time for photos and hit other landmarks of the Medicis leading to the Duomo, Bell Tower and Baptistery. We left there to the Piazza Signoria and ended on the Ponte Vecchio. Unfortunately, the rain began to fall making it problematic but overall it was a good tour. We definitely have to return to spend more time (days instead of hours) in Firenze. The final surprise was when Rashi drove us to the Piazza Michelangelo at the highest point across the Arno River to get that icon shot of Florence cityscape. This was the cherry on top of a spectacular tour.

Itinerary

  • Piazza dei Miracoli

Enjoy the marvels inside the Piazza dei Miracoli, 4 monuments: The Baptistery (famous for its echo), the Cathedral, the Leaning Tower, the Cemetery. Take a souvenir photo with the background of the leaning Toore that you are holding.

    2 hours
    Admission Included
  • Battistero di San Giovanni

The Pisa Baptistery of St. John (Italian: Battistero di San Giovanni) is a Roman Catholic ecclesiastical building in Pisa, Italy. Construction started in 1152 to replace an older baptistery, and when it was completed in 1363, it became the second building, in chronological order, in the Piazza dei Miracoli.

The shape of the building, the material used, the distribution of the interior spaces given by the columns and the space between the two domes make the Baptistery create an incredible effect of acoustic resonance, better known as Echo. The sound spreads throughout the space, like a continuous wave, rising in tonality to the point of suggesting the presence of an angelic choir. Every half hour the Baptistery staff performs a small demonstration for tourists: the effect is not to be missed.

    30 minutes
    Admission Included
  • Duomo di Pisa

Pisa Cathedral is a medieval Roman Catholic cathedral dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, in the Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa, Italy. It is a notable example of Romanesque architecture, in particular the style known as Pisan Romanesque

    30 minutes
    Admission Included
  • Leaning Tower of Pisa

Admire the most famous bell tower in the world from the outside, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, known worldwide for its nearly four-degree lean, the result of an unstable foundation. The tower is situated behind the Pisa Cathedral and is the third oldest structure in the city's Cathedral Square (Piazza del Duomo), after the cathedral and the Pisa Baptistry.

    15 minutes
  • Galleria dell'Accademia

The visit includes the Accademy Gallery where inside is the David, Michelangelo's famous sculpture. Michelangelo’s David at the “Accademia in addition to the work of David, there are also other sculptures and a large collection of paintings by Florentine artists.

    45 minutes
    Admission Included
  • Duomo - Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore

The cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (Visit from outside), with its beautiful dome projected by Brunelleschi, is the cathedral of Florence. Construction began in 1296, Gothic style to a design of Arnolfo di Cambio and was structurally completed by 1436, with the dome designed by Filippo Brunelleschi.

The exterior of the basilica is faced with polychrome marble panels in various shades of green and pink, bordered by white, and has an elaborate 19th-century Gothic Revival façade by Emilio De Fabris.

    15 minutes
  • Battistero Di San Giovanni

The Baptistery of San Giovanni stands in front of the Cathedral and is the ancient religious and civil center of the city, as well as a masterpiece of Italian Romanesque. It is one of the oldest buildings in the city: it probably dates back to the 5th century, and took on its current appearance in the 11th-12th century. With an octagonal plan, it is covered on the outside with white and green Prato marble with geometric motifs and has an eight-section roof; the decoration was enriched in the 16th century with statues and bas-reliefs. The three gilded bronze doors are the work of Andrea Pisano (south door, built around 1330), and Lorenzo Ghiberti (north, 1402/25 and east, 1425/52). The east door, with Stories from the Old Testament, opens towards the Cathedral and was defined by Michelangelo as the Gates of Paradise; all the doors are copies, the originals are kept in the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo.

    15 minutes
  • Piazza della Signoria

Adjacent to the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore is the Bell Tower designed by Giotto (visit outside). Giotto's Bell Tower is the majestic bell tower of the Cathedral and one of the masterpieces of Italian Gothic. The Bell Tower has a square base of approximately 15 meters per side with corner reinforcements that rise up to the horizontal cantilevered crown located at a height of 84.7 metres.

    15 minutes
  • Piazza della Signoria

Piazza della Signoria has been at the center of Florence's political life since the 14th century. The Square has seen important historical events and great triumphs take place, such as the return of the Medici in 1530.

The famous sculptures located in Piazza della Signoria have references to the political events of Florence. The David (the original is located in the Accademia Gallery) was created by Michelangelo and positioned in front of Palazzo Vecchio to symbolize the power of the Florentine Republic in contrast with the tyranny of the Medici. Hercules and Cacus (1534) by Bandinelli instead symbolizes the physical power of the family.

    30 minutes
  • Ponte Vecchio

Built near a Roman-era crossing, the Ponte Vecchio was until 1218 the only bridge that crossed the Arno in Florence.

Above Ponte Vecchio you can see a part of the beautiful Vasari Corridor. This corridor, built in 1565 by Giorgio Vasari, passes just above the goldsmith shops that currently stand on either side of the bridge. Commissioned by the Medici, it allowed them to move from Palazzo Vecchio to Palazzo Pitti without having to cross the streets of Florence, in complete safety. At the time of the construction of the Corridor, the butchers' shops were gathered on the Ponte Vecchio, whose activity probably disturbed the passage of the Medici, who in 1593 had them moved, replacing them with the more "decorous" goldsmith shops.

    15 minutes
  • Piazzale Michelangelo

Piazzale Michelangelo is the most evocative point of Florence. From here you can admire the whole city with its splendid monuments.

This square was dedicated to the great Renaissance artist Michelangelo and the copy of David is located in the center of the square next to the four allegories of the Medici Chapels of San Lorenzo.
