Must do Stonehenge inner circle tour

Our guide Robert was very knowledgeable and driver Ali did a great job getting us around safely. We had plenty of time to explore Windsor Castle and town. The highlight though was the Stonehenge inner circle part of the tour. We had a wonderful Stonehenge guide and Robert supplemented her info. This tour was well worth the time and expense. I can’t imagine seeing Stonehenge without the inner circle tour.

Great experience with wonderful tour guides Robert and Aly. We started with Windsor. Robert provided interesting commentary on our way out and tips about places to eat and things to see while we were there. We toured the castle at our leisure, grabbed a late lunch and then met up to continue out to Stonehenge for the Inner Circle tour. We are a family of five, (kids 11, 15, 17) and I questioned if it would be worth the money to book a tour. It is 100% worth it! I can’t imagine traveling all that way and not being able to get up close to the stones. The guide from Stonehenge was great too. She provided so much historical context and Robert offered to take family photos for everyone.

Fantastic visit to Stonehenge Inner circle and Windsor Castle

I can’t recommend this tour enough! Robert , our guide, was phenomenal!! Not only did he share his knowledge of the history of Windsor castle, and Stonehenge, he started sharing history of the architecture of London and other facts as we passed through the city on our way out. He went out of his way to answer questions and was very personable. Our bus driver, Ali, did a fantastic job maneuvering this big bus through the busy narrow streets. I felt very secure riding with him.

On this special access Tour from London, you'll be invited to enter the Inner Circle, an area restricted to visitors, and experience Stonehenge as never seen before. Walk around the sacred Inner Circle of this ancient site and stand among the giant Sarsens that are up to 30 feet (9 metres) tall and weigh 25 tons. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity away from the crowds as you experience Stonehenge at its atmospheric best.
