Armando was excellent. He explained the historical significance of various buildings and site. He gave us a lot of practical information such as where to buy tickets, what time to bisit museums etc and even us told us some of his favorite eateries.

My daughter and I had the best time on this half-day tour. It’s something every first-time visitor should experience—not just exploring the city on your own. It gave us a deeper appreciation of the history and made the whole trip even more memorable. Our tour guide was absolutely the best—knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. They made the entire experience enjoyable for both me and my daughter, and truly brought the history to life. We especially loved learning about Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, and the fascinating story of the Medici family. From humble beginnings as bankers, they rose to power and helped shape the city by supporting incredible artists like Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci. Hearing how they influenced art, politics, and culture made everything we saw feel more meaningful.

It’s good to get a bit of the history on our walk but I felt he kept he was repeatedly going to deep into it. Guide was nice pleasant man but I never appreciate a walking tour guide offering advice on any particular restaurant more than any other. He gushed about one at length. Felt that at times we stayed too long in some areas and you could tell peoples attention was wavering. Our group was really too big. We were standing around for long periods of time .

The tour was interesting but our guide lacked energy. She did appear knowledgeable though. We were late due to going to the wrong meeting point but she was accommodating.
