Our guide had a tremendous knowledge of the history through the millennia and was able to weave a story based on the surnames of the people on the tour. His approach was philosophical rooted in history. I was blown away.

There is much to learn and know about the Valley of the Temples, so we decided to splurge on a private tour. We also figured that sunset would be lovely as the temples light up. We were right on both counts. Our guide, Sergio, was informative and entertaining. He knows his subject and makes connections which paint the big picture of this ancient Greek history. Sergio stayed with us well past our scheduled time and made sure we got back to our car safely. Chances are you are like us: just here once this lifetime. Make the best of it and book a private tour (with Sergio!).
