I really recommend the Sandal Wood & Sightseeing Tour, it's a great one day adventure. We were picked up from our hotel by Mani Muthu and he has been a fantastic guide and driver! He made it very clear on what the plan is and accommodate to our requests and needs! We enjoyed Eravikulam (get there early to avoid the queues) and all the stops along the way! We decided to hike in Chinnar (really good) and Mani Muthu made sure that we get there with time to spare! I highly recommend :)

The tour is a great balance between sightseeing from a jeep and exploring on our own. Mani Muthu has been extremely friendly and welcoming our requests. We have also seen some deers! If you want to explore both the national park and the wildlife sanctuary and see from the jeep a breath taking valley, this tour is 100% recommended.

Nayamakad Waterfall in Munnar was a captivating escape into nature's embrace. The winding roads through the tea plantations added a touch of adventure to the trip. As I approached the waterfall, the sound of cascading water grew louder, and the mist in the air hinted at the marvel awaiting me.
Located in the Idukki district of Kerala, and quite close to the rather popular hill station of Munnar, Rajamala Hills is a wonderful escape from the humdrum city life. Without the typically crowded feeling of a hill town, this often overlooked piece of heaven is the perfect getaway you can wish for.
Wildlife enthusiasts can look forward to the rare Nilgiri Tahr which is a type of mountain goat. Also worth a visit is the Rajamala Wildlife Sanctuary which is a portion of the much larger Eravikulam National Park which is 97 square kilometres in area.
Also known as Lakkom Falls, Munnar’s Lakkam Waterfalls are located 7,300 feet above the sea level. An interesting feature about this waterfall is that it starts from a plateau and not a hill, which is the case with most other falls. Originating from the Eravikulam Plateau, Lakkam Waterfalls collect into a pool.
Ensconced in a green surrounding, Lakkam Waterfalls are enclosed by a dense collection of Vaga trees and boulders which one needs to climb to get very close to the falls. Taking pictures apart, the falls are famous for boulder hiking and even bathing in the pool.
Vaguvari view point for best tea plantation view & have photo shoot at the view point to get best click on it.
Coffee plantation & tea plantation visit near chattamunnar.
This beautiful destination is the only place in Kerala that has natural sandalwood forests and the vast sugarcane farms, known for the best variety of solid molasses (Jaggery in Malayalam). If you want to explore this heavenly place and enjoy the sight of aromatic sandalwood trees, then Marayoor is not very far away from Munnar. This densely jungle is located around 40 kms from Munnar, on the eastern side of the Western Ghats and is bordered by the neighbouring state Tamil Nadu. Tourists can visit the famous sandalwood factory here, which is run by the Forest Department & their is possiblity to sight wild deers & other animals in the sanctuary
