Overview
Get to know three of Liverpool’s traditional pubs with this evening walking tour, starting from the Philharmonic Dining Rooms and ending at Pier Head. You’ll discover the pubs known to locals, that tourists often miss, with the help of a local guide. A half pint of real ale is included in each pub, along with commentary to pique your interest about the history of the pubs and the characters that have drank in them.

Phil took us to some great pubs, including one housed in a former jail! We also visited one of the Beatles’ favorite pubs and sat in their favorite room! What an experience!!

I love small group walking tours and this experience did not disappoint! Phil, the guide, is enthusiastic and knowledgeable both of music and location history. The choice of the pubs we visited is a nice mix (one in an old jail) and all gave us a taste for the local vibe! The size of the group (there were 8 of us total) was very nice for making friendly connections. Highly recommend!
