Dubrovnik old town wall tour

Early morning old town wall tour. Very informative guide. Marko was excellent backed up with local knowledge from living in the town . Definitely worth a visit. The price for the guide is fair, however you need to be aware that you have to pay an additional 40 euros per person to enter the wall. This meant that the total cost was over 150 euros. The views were amazing with awesome photo opportunities. The refreshments at the first selling point were expensive and much cheaper at the next. All in all I am glad that we took the tour and would recommend if you visit Dubrovnik or somewhere close to the area.

Marko was an excellent guide, speaking with clarity and knowledge. A tour of the walls is a MUST in Dubrovnik!! However, if looking down from heights is a problem for you, & climbing up and down steps is an issue, then this walking tour might be one to avoid!!

The moment we climb up the walls we will see the mighty Revelin fortress. Your guide will tell you about its construction and how it served the city of Dubrovnik in difficult times.
2 minutesMinceta Fortress
Our guide will take you up Minčeta tower, the highest point of the walls, for breathtaking views of the Old Town. You will learn about the importance of Minčeta in the defense of Dubrovnik throughout the history.

One of the first casemated forts in all of Europe, builty by the great Florentine architect Michelozzi.
2 minutesSt. John's Fortress
We will be atop the fortress of St. John on this tour, overlooking the old harbour. You will hear about its history and enjoy the views of Lokrum island and the old quarantine.
5 minutesLovrjenac Fortress
We will talk about the famous Lovrijenac fort, the strongest and the most impressive. Your guide will share with you interesting details about the thickness of the walls and some intriguing words in Latin...
