We booked the Walls of Dubrovnik walking tour eight months in advance, but about a month before our trip, one of our group members underwent major surgery that impacted mobility and endurance. Thankfully, we were the only four on the tour that day, which turned out to be a blessing. Marco, with his deep knowledge of the city and its history, immediately offered an alternative route that didn’t involve climbing the stairs or walking the wall. Bruno, our guide, adapted the tour seamlessly—without missing a beat. He made sure we still experienced the rich history and stunning sights of Dubrovnik, and his storytelling brought the city to life. Bruno also recommended a fantastic restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious lunch, rounding out a truly memorable day. If you have mobility concerns, I would advise against booking the full wall tour due to the many stairs involved. But thanks to the team’s flexibility and thoughtfulness, we were able to enjoy a meaningful and accessible experience. We’re so grateful and would absolutely recommend Viator for your tours.
