If you’ve opted for the VIP tour or private tour, your guide will pick you up from most hotels in Cancun and the Riviera Maya; if you haven't, make your way to one of the convenient meeting points.
Arrive at Chichen Itza and have 2–3 hours on site, with a guided tour of the key locations, including El Castillo (the Pyramid of Kukulcan), the Temple of the Warriors, and the ball court, plus free time to explore and take pictures.
Your next stop is a nearby cenote. After swimming in its clear waters, feast on a Mexican buffet (vegetarian options available), then enjoy a tequila tasting hosted by the local community
Next, your guide introduces the highlights of the charming colonial town of Valladolid, leaving time for photos.
Return to your hotel or meeting point around 12 hours after you left.

Marcela was amazing. Very knowledgeable and excited to share the history. We really enjoyed this trip. The cenote was beautiful and the lunch was delicious.

Our guide Ramiro and driver Rodolfo were fantastic. Always pleasant and informative. Very helpful throughout. Pickup and drop off was smooth and prompt. I would recommend to others.

We woke up and got the lobby at 745am. We were texted to be there by 8:05am! The driver text us at 8:01am that they would be 20 min late. We stayed in the lobby waiting. At 8:49am they text they were in the lobby and then seconds later still being 8:49 am they said they were leaving. They asked us to get to a hotel to catch the bus, since they waited for us for 5 min(they didn’t wait even one minute) and they would arrive in 20 min. Having us to spend extra on a taxi. We inquired to find a taxi, and the taxi said it would take him 35 min to arrive. Which would mean we would miss catching up to the bus that left us. We didn’t make the excursion and had horrible customer service from the amigo tours company.

Ramiro was a fantastic host/ tour guide. He spoke English very well. He was very informative about everything. The tour takes all day mostly because of the drive time to get there and back. You will be bombarded with local vendors trying to sell you stuff along the way especially at the chickan itsa so beware. But overall my wife and i had a good time
