I attended this tour with my mom and sisters, and it was an unforgettable experience. We made so many beautiful memories and visited absolutely magical places. Our tour guide, Pastor, was very knowledgeable, and our driver, Ricardo, along with Julian, were excellent. Thank you! ????????

The tour company Amigo had great communication. From the start, I opted in to the text messages and I am glad I did. I had updated information regarding the tour, the pick date, time, location and driver. The pickup was on time and luckily our hotel was a pick up location, as we were outside of Cancún. The pickup was early, but we had a comfortable van ride to meet up with the rest of the tour group. We met up with the group at agas station at the "entrance" to Cancun from the highway. The your bus was waiting and from there we checked in with our tour guides and bus driver. Pastor and Ricardo were the tour guides, we had an English and Spanish group sharing a bus. Julian was the bus driver and got us around all day safe and sound. Once aboard the tour bus, Pastor explained the itinerary and the timeline of the trip. He explained everything twice, once in English and once i. Spanish. We were unfortunately a bit late, so we got stuck at the back of the bus and the speaker wasn't so great. It was hard the hear Pastor, but we could make out every other word. A little annoying was that we had to hear everything twice once in English amd Spanish. If you understand both languages it gets old fast. But nonetheless we were able to enjoy the ride. After taking a nap, we woke up to the entrance to Chichen Itza. After a brief history we arrived at the archeological site for a quick tour. This tour is a historical guided tour. If you are only there for the pictures this tour is probably not for you. While there is time for pictures, it is guided and a bit rushed. But the tour we had was for 3 locations on one day, so it was to be expected. I got some great pictures we arrived early enough where it was not busy, and most importantly not that hot. We toured a large portion of the ruins, but did not have tome for knickknacks before or after entering the site. There are vendors throughout the entire site, selling wares, which was a bit disheartening since this is supposed to be one of the 7 Wonders of the World, but what I remember most is all the vendors. I do understand that most of these people make a living off tourism to this location, I wish it wasn't inside the grounds. This has nothing to do with the tour, but more to do with the location, as the tour guides have no control over this. Ricardo made the entrance to the paid locations a breeze as he was well organized and gave us the tickets before entering and explained the process for tourists and Mexican citizens. Pastor did the tour in Spanish and he was very knowledgeable and answered questions we had. The pace was a bit rushed, but again more due to the amount of activities selected. If you want to explore the entire grounds, a different tour is recommended. We next headed to lunch, and we were starving, since our pick up was so early our hotel restaurants were not yet opened. We had an hour drive to the lunch location, which was also the location of the next part of the tour, the Cenote. We visited Chichikan. It was a very Instagramable Cenote with a waterfall. We decided lunch first, but you were able to choose your own adventure, of gift shop, restaurant, or Cenote. We opted for the all inclusive tour, which included the all you can eat buffet, locker and life jacket rental. The restaurant buffet was small, but all the food items were delicious. They had Sopes, empanadas, rice, beans, chilaquiles, eggs, veggies, soup, pasta, and tacos. The tacos were made to order and they had 4 options including a vegetarian taco. They had a small dessert section, but hidden menu if you talked with your waiter was the Helado de Coco. They make it fresh on site every morning and it was perfectly sweet. The drinks weren't included but it wasn't exorbitant pricing. Right after we went to tent a locker, a quick rinse before entering the Cenote for a cool swim after the hot day. There was little fish swimming around and they tickled your legs, but most stayed clear. The water was noce and fresh and there were places to dip your feet or your whole body. There was even a wooden ledge to jump off into the deep end. After there was a small tequila tasting before heading back to the tour bus. After another short ride, we stopped at Valladolid for a stroll around their central square. This was a short stop, with enough time to grab a snack and relax on the town square and enjoy an authentic Mexican city. We hopped on the Tour bus one last time headed back to where we started. In time for a late dinner at our hotel.
