Discover two of northeast Scotland's gems on this day trip from Aberdeen. Head first for "bonnie" Dundee, Scotland's fourth-largest city and reputedly its sunniest. Enjoy free time to check out Dundee's cultural gems before continuing on to St. Andrews, the "home of golf," where you have plenty of time to explore at leisure before heading back north to Aberdeen.

Was lucky enough to have my same Rabbies driver from yesterday’s tour. Today’s group was so rude and the Driver handed it so great! I felt so bad for him. He is a fantastic story teller!

After changing my plans to go to Inverness I decided to complete my tour on the east coast of Scotland. The trip was great. The van was comfortable and our guide was very knowledgeable.both Dundee and Saint Andrews were fascinating places. The only thing that was a bit of a challenge was the seat belts. A little tight and the seats were a little small.

This tour package is basically very comfortable transport to St. Andrew’s and Dundee. The van is very comfortable. Alan’s narrative was interesting and he was very able to answer questions. But once reaching each of the two city locations, you will explore on your own. The trip allowed plenty of time in St. Andrew’s to view the Cathederal, walk the streets, have lunch, and walk the golf course and/or beach. In Dundee we were dropped off at the attractive riverfront near the V&A Museum. The schedule left plent of time to explore this facility and enjoy a bit of the river wall.

We had a good trip with Alan. He was thoughtful, knowledgeable and responsive to the questions and vibe of the small group we had. He helped solve individual guest’s needs. He was ready with explanations and stories about the St Andrew’s and Dunnattor areas. We was an excellent group leader and I think everyone appreciated having him guide us.
Departing Aberdeen, known as 'The Granite City,' you travel southward along the coastline and through scenic countryside en route to Dundee.
Your driver-guide drops you near the waterfront, ideal for the views and perhaps a visit to V&A Dundee—a design hub highlighting Scottish and global creativity. Alternatively, explore the Royal Research Ship Discovery, the pioneering Antarctic vessel with interactive displays and artifacts. The city and waterfront are yours to explore at your leisure.
After Dundee, we cross the Tay Road Bridge, offering views of the Firth of Tay, entering the ancient Kingdom of Fife. Fife, renowned for golf, outdoor pursuits, and rich history, unfolds as we head south to the medieval town of St Andrews. Home to Scotland's patron saint, St Andrew, and the third oldest British university, it boasts dramatic castle ruins perched on cliffs. Golf enthusiasts will relish exploring the Old Course at St Andrews, the oldest golf course. With around two and a half hours, immerse yourself in this captivating town.
After St Andrews, we take a pleasant drive through the rolling countryside back to Aberdeen.
