David was an excellent driver and tour guide, very knowledgeable and good communicator. The Dachau concentration camp was a bit unsettling, reading all the stories of the prisoners and seeing what happened very moving. It is good that this is preserved to remind us of the atrocities that happened. He then took us to Starnberg lake where we had an excellent lunch and then got the little boat to Roseninsel Island unfortunately we didn’t get into the casino tour due to a very rude woman conducting the tour. David had lots of history about Ludwig 11 who built the casino/villa. Return to Munich very pleasant.

Hi, Bob! Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're glad to hear that David provided excellent guidance and was both knowledgeable and a great communicator throughout your trip. Visiting the Dachau concentration camp can indeed be an emotional and moving experience, and it's important that these historical sites are preserved as a reminder. It sounds like the visit to Starnberg Lake provided a nice contrast, with a relaxing lunch and a boat trip to Roseninsel Island. We're sorry to hear about the unfortunate experience with the casino tour, but it's wonderful that David shared his insights about Ludwig II and enriched your journey. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again for another memorable experience!
Spend the morning exploring the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site. Take a guided tour to gain insights into the history and significance of the site.
Explore the beautiful Lake Starnberg. You can take a stroll along the lakeside promenade or even take a boat tour if weather permits. Then head into the town to explore the charming streets and shops.
