We had a fantastic time on this Mekong Delta tour. The whole experience was well organized, relaxing, and very interesting, especially for our family. The boat ride, coconut village visit, and hot cake cooking were authentic and enjoyable, giving us a real feel of local life. A special thank you to our guide James, who was absolutely fantastic – friendly, knowledgeable, and great with both adults and children. He explained everything clearly, had a great sense of humor, and made the day even more memorable. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a genuine Mekong Delta experience!
Beautiful cultural and nature experience in the Mekong Delta

Visiting the Mekong Delta was a wonderful experience. The scenery is peaceful and full of lush greenery, rivers, and traditional villages. The boat rides through the narrow canals were relaxing and gave us a great view of local life along the riverbanks. We enjoyed tasting fresh tropical fruits, learning about local handicrafts, and seeing how coconut candy and other products are made. The people were friendly and welcoming, which made the trip even more enjoyable. It’s a great destination for families and anyone wanting to experience authentic Vietnamese culture and nature. I highly recommend taking a guided boat tour to fully explore the area.

Itinerary
My Tho
Depart at 8AM from the starting point (Kim Travel office) and head to the Mekong Delta by minivan or bus. It takes you around 2 hours to My Tho.
You'll arrive in My Tho at approximately 10:00 AM and then ride on a local motorboat through Dragon Island, Phoenix Island, and Turtle Island. Then stop at the famous Unicorn Island to visit a natural beekeeping farm, and taste honey wine, rice wine, and banana wine. Then take a walk through the village and row along the coconut canal to learn more about the traditional rural lifestyle of the Mekong Delta inhabitants.
Continue your motor boat trip to Ben Tre province to visit a handmade coconut candy workshop. Then transfer to a small motor boat and travel along the lush, green canals, stopping at local Vietnamese restaurant for some traditional food. Later on, enjoy various types of tropical fruits at the orchard garden and listen to traditional music. At the end of the tour, a local boat will take you back to My Tho. From there a bus will drive you back to Ho Chi Minh city, arriving at around 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM.
