On our honeymoon we stopped in Barcona for a tour. Our guide Anna was spectacular full of energy and enthusiasm. She kept us all in sequence and when others began deviating from the tour group paused to make sure everyone knew to stay together and politely ensured everyone knew to stay together. Our tour began from the train station. Leaving via bus which has USB charging ports, air conditioning, reclining seats a great driver Alberto who didn't make huge motions. We then transferred after about 45 minutes uses drive to a rail going remaining way to Momtserra. Thr tour included a video session inside the building along with liqour tasting. Anna did a great job pointing out these as she did a thorough explanation of the history. She also informed us of the local market vendors of cheeses a must try on the way out. Make sure to pay attention to time as the tour goes quickly and your free time may cause you to miss the bus . Spend time in the basilica first then go for your walk a bout and photos

We booked the trip a day before going, It was really fun! Anna is great guide! She showed us everything, answered all the questions! If you wondering if it’s worth - it is! Could be longer for an hour or two cause we didn’t have enough free time to slowly see everything. Still recommend this trip :)

Our guide Valeria was very friendly and knowledgeable. She seems to really enjoy sharing the story and information of Monserrat with her tour guests. Even though it was a cloudy rainy day it was still worth the trip to experience this history. Our driver Deka (?) also did a great job.

Anna was absolutely fantastic! 5/5 would definitely do tour again. Just the right amount of information and so personable. Be sure to do the train up to the monastery.
