Overview
The Hole Escape Room is a fully immersive, state-of-the-art escape room experience, where you get to do the time without committing the crime! An adrenaline filled puzzle-based game set in a dark prison cell, known as The Hole. It’s guaranteed to test your wits as you work together to outsmart The Hole and escape, making your way to freedom.
THE STORY
You’re serving time behind bars, but have become tired of your sentence, you are clever, quick-witted and a notorious escape specialist. You have gained a reputation amongst Prison Officers for being difficult to detain, committing numerous escape attempts from your prison cell.
Now the Governor has had enough. The transfer papers have been signed and you’re heading to the darkness; you’re heading to The Hole.
The Hole is a specially designed prison cell, steel reinforced walls, electronic doors, and pitch black, The Hole is deemed inescapable. Once locked inside, escape is no longer an option.

No Staff, Event cancelled.... No Refund.

I had previous booked the ghost hunting experience early this month and I decided to come back as I thought my husband might enjoy an escape challenge, so I booked this event for mine and my husbands valentines gift for the 14th Feb. On the 13th Feb (one day prior) midday, I got a call to say this had been cancelled due to not having enough staff to cover the activity. It was upsetting that this had been cancelled at such short notice around a special occasion, but appreciate that these things happen. I asked for a refund for the £150.00, which should have really been processed during that call. We are now on Saturday 21st Feb. I have had to send multiple chasers with responses such as; we are busy and short staffed it will be processed soon. Refunds usually take 14 days to process - on the basis that it then can take up to 5-7 days to hit the bank, I don't know how a refund takes a business 14 days to process. At this point it is withholding money. I have not asked for anything other than a refund, which I am in my rights to do so!! Our valentine's was ruined, with no apology and now I am struggling to even get a refund of a substantial amount of money. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - still waiting now. Will keep post updated.

Fantastic visit to the prison including the Hole escape room. Brilliant fun. Our prison officer for the day was fab, made it fun & enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved the experience, the puzzles were a good level of difficulty and the staff were incredible. We will definitely be returning for another experience.

Really good day out with adult children. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Very interesting tour round the prison and great fun in the challenging Escape Room.
