La Digue Island’s is known for its beaches, and many of them – including more secluded ones like Anse Cocos – are popular and can get crowded during the busy season. This full-day excursion takes you away from those guidebook highlights; instead, spend the height of the day relaxing and swimming at Anse Marron, an isolated beach tucked away between Grande Anse and Anse Source d’Argent. Follow your guide across challenging terrain and be rewarded with a pristine white-sand beach with an incredible collection of boulders in the ocean.

THIS IS NOT A TRAIL FOR EVERYONE. - there are tight spaces to squeeze through, and you must be able to bend over, climb over rocks, duck for low clearances and have good stamina - parts of this trail are dangerous/technical and would not recommend for kids <8 or adults who have joint problems/pain or are not in good physical condition For us it was a good experience—girard was knowledgeable and the food for lunch was good. But I was super surprised at how dangerous this was.

We had a great time with Gerard. We feel passionate about his island, respectful of fauna and flora. Always on the lookout in the forest to make us discover animals, plants .. the snack was presented in a basket braided by him! Gérard was kind and always there to help us in the more difficult places to pass during the hike. We recommend!

Super tour to the, for us, most beautiful beach on La Digue. Anse Marron is a dream. Without a guide but not recommended and we like to go hiking and a lot. It is quite demanding in some places, even in some cases very tight. But Gerard knows where to step and guides you great. He tells very interesting things about the animals and plants and makes a great fruit basket for lunch.

Gerard was a very nice, funny and attentive, helpful guide. The tour went over plantations, through the jungle, we crossed mighty granite formations, through rock holes and crevasses, it went through the water over the beach. At noon there was a picnic basket, lovingly prepared at the stand.
After we meet by the helicopter pad, we will have transport taking us to Grand Anse where we will start the actual walk towards Anse Marron beach.
Approximately in the middle of our walk we will reach Anse Marron beach which consists of a more open, bigger stretch of sand and a smaller beach with the access to a lagoon protected with the rocks. There you will be served light lunch and will have about 1-1.5 hours (depending on the tide schedule) of relaxing time.
We will reach Anse Source d'Argent beach at the end of our tour. It is one of the most famous beaches in Seychelles and one of the most photographed beaches in the world with lots of beautiful rock formations. You can spend the remaining of your available time here or walk towards the ending point with Gerard near helicopter pad where we started the tour.
Upon finishing the tour, you will be able to walk through L'Union Estate Park (admission is not included in the tour price) where you can see the giant tortoises, vanilla plantation, old plantation house which is a museum now. This is the place where we finish the tour. You can spend there as much of the remaining time as you want, or leave the park together with me towards the very end point near the helicopter pad where we started the tour.
