    The museum's permanent exhibition features icons of modern and contemporary art. International masterpieces by Basquiat, Chagall, Fontana, Haring, Klee, Klein, Klimt, Lichtenstein, Magritte, Matisse, Miró, Picasso, Warhol and many others will amaze you!

    Experiment Expressionism: Schiele meets Nosferatu

    11 April to 31 August 2025

    This special exhibition combines masterpieces of German and Austrian Expressionism with the aesthetics of early silent film. In addition to important works by Kirchner, Nolde, Pechstein, Schiele and many more, film posters, stills and film sequences of classics such as “Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari”, “Nosferatu” or “Metropolis” will be presented.

    In this combination, the entire artistic spectrum of this era can be experienced.
