Rory is now dubbed ‘THE MOST INTERESTING WOMAN IN THE WORLD!’ Fantastic tour, knowledgeable and lovely tour guide- great places of interest, and most of all- Rory and fellow tour participants enhanced our first trip to the amazing city of Philadelphia!

Great Food & History

Great tour! Rory was our guide. She was very personable and knowledgeable (food and history). She introduced us to food we would not have eaten otherwise (we’re from the south). Amongst other great Philly dishes, we had a Malaysian appetizer that was very good! My favorite was probably the pierogis, followed by a cheese steak pretzel. Always love the Secret Food Tours!.

Food, History, and Fun!

Dominic gave a little history of the city, the food, and fun places to visit. He loves to visit places and try them out so he is current. We started off at Reading Terminal Market and our Philly cheesesteak on a pretzel roll by Miller's was amazing! We took photos so we know where to stop next time too! Great variety of foods and great company! He wore a fun pineapple costume and was easy to locate in a pinch too!

Fun exploring food in Philly

My 17-year old son and I enjoyed getting to taste the different foods included on this tour, along with learning about some of the history and culture of the area around the Reading Market. The tour guide was knowledgeable, entertaining and enthusiastic about sharing the foods and the city of Philadelphia. Definitely come hungry because this tour provides full-size samples of some delicious and filling food! The pretzel cheesesteaks were unique and very good, and super filling. I love booking food tours when I visit a new city, and this tour was definitely a winner.
