Overview
On this tour, your guide will introduce you to the must-see attractions of Trondheim. You will learn more about the history of the city and its legends.
Your guide will take you past the majestic cathedral of Nidaros, the birthplace of Christianity in Norway. Entrance ticket not included.
You will cross the old bridge also called "happiness portal" to access the charming old quarter of Trondheim and its colorful houses. In this neighborhood your guide will introduce you to the only bicycle elevator in the world. On the way back we will stop at Stiftsgården, the summer residence of the Norwegian royal family, and then we will finish in the central square of Trondheim with the large statue of the city's founder, Olav Trygvasson.

Enjoyable and educational Trondheim tour

Our walking tour of Trondheim was a highlight of our trip, thanks to our incredible guide, Maëlle! From the moment we met, her warmth and friendly demeanor made us feel instantly welcome. Her knowledge of the city's history, from the majestic Nidaros Cathedral to the charming wharves along the Nidelva River, was impressive. What set her apart was her engaging storytelling ability. My adult daughter and I went on this tour. Gael was a knowledgeable tour guide. He met us on time and adapted the tour to our needs, even showing us the restaurant we wanted to eat at afterwards. He showed us some off the beaten path sites and routes so that we could explore a bit more on our own the next day. Recommend!
