A sobering experience and insightful view of Korea’s history. We were fortunate to have a caring and sensitive guide who took his time to explain issues and catered to our every needs. He was very well supported by an excellent careful driver who also was very caring. If you choose this activity I hope Aaron and Dominic are your team.

Tour guide Andy was awesome. Went above and beyond. DMZ of course was cool especially for history fans.

Thank you David and Andy for a well organised, hassle free and memorable private tour. From the confirmation of the pickup, breakfast, water and making sure that we were comfortable at every point in the journey. Andy shared a depth of knowledge on ancient and modern history that we found the tour both informative and interesting. You organised everything which took the stress and hassle out of organising transport and tickets to all venues and sites we visited on this private DMZ tour. Always considerate, even brought umbrellas when we forgot to bring our own, and was flexible with the itinerary by taking us to the war museum. Also a good photographer too. If you want a hassle free, well informed and knowledgable and hassle free tour hosted by a a great tour guide to the DMZ, this is it.

We had a very informative and wonderful time with Lucy, our guide. Her English was great. It was brutally hot and she trekked and guided us for the whole day. Highly recommend.
Begin Your Journey at Imjingak, a Park Dedicated to Those Who Left North Korea During the Korean War. Explore War Artifacts in the Park, then Move on to the Bridge of Freedom, Utilized in the Liberation of Around 12,800 Korean War Prisoners in 1953.
Experience riding a crystal cable car across the Imjin River, spanning the Civilian Control Line, covering a distance of 850 meters. (No extra charge needed) Enjoy the breathtaking views from the transparent floor of the cable car as you soar through the air, taking in landmarks.
Visit the Dora Observatory for a close-up view of North Korean villages and the city of Kaesong. The location, near the border and equipped with high-performance binoculars, makes it a popular stop on DMZ tours. On clear days, you can even see Kim Il Sung's statue, offering a firsthand sense of the ongoing division between North and South Korea. The Dora Observatory is an ideal place to experience the reality of the divided Korean Peninsula.
Visit the Unification Village and explore the local specialties. The region is renowned for its beans, and you can discover unique desserts and snacks made from these local specialties. Importantly, there is no pressure or obligation for any sales, so feel free to browse at your leisure.
Put on a helmet and explore the Third Tunnel, one of the tunnels North Korea built to infiltrate South Korea. Walk through the tunnel for a unique experience. Visit the DMZ Theater for a short video on the Korean War, watch videos on the war and the DMZ's formation, and explore the exhibition hall with key artifacts and photos to learn more about the region's history.
Experience the iconic 'Chulleong Bridge' on Gamaksan (Mountain Gamak) through a light hiking adventure. The term 'Chulleong' in Korean means 'swaying,' and you can feel the thrill of crossing a suspension bridge that stretches approximately 150 meters. This spot is very popular for capturing stunning photos, so be sure to make a stop and enjoy the amazing views
