We recently did the Citadel of Saladin, Coptic Cairo, and Khan el Khalili Bazaar tour through Viator, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. Our guide, Lydia, was warm, friendly, and very accommodating to our requests throughout the day. She had a pleasant demeanor that made the tour feel relaxed and comfortable, and we appreciated her flexibility in adjusting to our pace and interests. That said, we felt the experience could have been even more enriching with a bit more proactive sharing of historical context. At some of the sites, especially the major landmarks, we would have loved deeper explanations and more storytelling to fully bring the history and significance of the buildings to life. Overall, a well-organized and enjoyable tour with a kind and approachable guide—just a little more depth in narration would make it truly outstanding.
