Overview
This tour takes you first to the Pottery Village of Banyumulek. Observe how the local women produce pottery stuff. Then, visit Sukarare village; renowned for its traditional hand weaving of brightly patterned “songket”, “ikat” and “sarong” cloths. We will observe how the regeneration of the weaving tradition goes on in the village. Girls, mothers, grandmothers, and even great-grandmothers do weave activities together in the village. Next, the tour continues to Ende village, featuring unique traditional houses with buffalo dung floors. Lunch is served at one of the local restaurants in the New Kuta Mandalika area. Then, we visit the beautiful beach of Tanjung A’an, one of the most scenic and unspoiled beaches in this part of Lombok.
