The Colón Theatre is stunning and the guided tour really impresses with its architectural richness and history. The guide was very didactic, friendly and made the tour even more interesting. It was exciting to see one of the most important opera theaters in the world from the inside. It is worth booking a time and live this experience.

The experience with Viator really bad. Expensive ticket. At the last minute I was told that the schedule I had been sold was not available, they lied about the reason, offered to reschedule, I said I could not and they did not answer me how to continue. They haven't paid me back yet.

It is a nice and quick way to see the theater if you don't have a chance to see an opera or ballet there (most tickets are held by members and the rest sold out very fast around February for the entire season). The guide will tell you about the history of the theater, its architecture, construction and acoustics, and you get to sit in one of the boxes for a while to take it all in.
