About me
My name is Caroline, I am a passionate Local Guide. I grew up in this region, studied at Aix University. I love working in the tourism trade as it enables me to meet new people, share my passion for my city and create meaningful moments with visitors from all around the world. I have had the opportunity to live abroad: in the USA and in Belgium. These experiences opened my mind. I know what it feels like to arrive in an unfamiliar place, and it will be a pleasure to help you and make you feel at home:)

Caroline was a wonderful guide for my first day in Aix. As someone who has lived and raised her family in Aix, she knows all the nooks and crannies, not just the major sights. I was grateful to know where to find the public toilets, the library (for a quiet morning to catch up on correspondence) , authentic cafes, and shops for unique souvenirs. As a solo traveler, I was grateful for Carolyn’s follow up messages to help increase my enjoyment of Aix.

Fantastic tour! We had a wonderful tour of Aix-en-Provence with Caroline. She was incredibly engaging and enthusiastic from start to finish, which made the experience both informative and fun. What really stood out was how attentive she was to our five-year-old—she kept him entertained the entire time while still delivering a rich and detailed tour for the adults. Caroline’s attention to detail was amazing. She pointed out fascinating features of the buildings, took us inside several of them, and shared details we never would have noticed on our own. She is kind, funny, and clearly passionate about her city. Even before the tour, she was excellent with communication and reached out on WhatsApp with thoughtful recommendations for restaurants and kid-friendly activities. It was clear she genuinely wanted us to have a great time in Aix-en-Provence. We truly had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend her.

Bonjour Kathleen, Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I am truly happy if I helped make your time in Aix-en-Provence special and create beautiful memories for Jojo when he's older . He is such a lovely boy! You are such a sweet family, and I had a great time exploring Aix with you . I also really enjoyed talking about Florida -it brought back great memories of my time working at Epcot years ago ...it also reminds me of the manatees ! Take care, and enjoy the rest of your trip discovering the beauty of France!

Caroline is an outstanding guide - very personable, enthusiastic, and highly prepared. She grew up in the region and uses personal recollection and photographs to allow comparisons of past and present. Sĥe pointed out important details and led us into spaces we otherwise would have overlooked. She adds many stories and histories along the way. The tour added immeasurably to our appreciation of this beautiful city.
