We really enjoyed the guided hiking tour, which featured the hike to the Grouse Grind Trail and the Lynn Suspension Bridge. Jakob guided the party safely through the trails and gave insightful information about the natural surroundings of the area. Also, it was thoughtful of Jacob to drive us. back to our hotel, which we appreciated immensely. We are giving this tour five-stars for the great experience and service!

The tour provided by Way Out Tours was very enjoyable. Jakob brought us to the Grouse Mountain and the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge. My husband did the hike up the Grouse Mountain and loved it. Jakob was very accommodating and was very knowledgeable. We would recommend his tours. Thank you Jakob and Way Out Tours for making our visit to Vancouver memorable.

Ben was awesome! The day was amazing and Ben’ care for us exceeded expectations! His knowledge made our experience so much more valuable.
We begin our day with Stanley Park for a brief (15 minute) guide narrated tour along Stanley Park Drive aboard our mini-coach/van. Stanley Park is one of Vancouver's most iconic landmarks and includes a variety of the city's most popular tourist attractions including the Brockton Point Totem Poles and the 9 o'clock gun.
After touring the north-west section of Stanley Park, we set off for North Vancouver along the Stanley Park Causeway on Highway 99. Your guide will point out the main highlights and provide an informative commentary about the natural and human history along the way.
We cross the Lion's Gate Bridge (arguably Vancouver's most iconic and stories piece of human infrastructure) as we make our way to North Vancouver.
The active part of our day begin with Vancouver's stairmaster, The Grouse Grind. The Grind is a challenging 2.5km/1.55mile trail that meanders through a forest of towering evergreen trees before climaxing at the top of Grouse Mountain (800m elevation gain). You can't really call yourself a Vancouverite until you've completed this iconic hike. When you reach the top, the payoff is incredible. On a clear day, the views of Vancouver are second to none but regardless of the weather, Grouse Mountain offers something for everyone. The stars of the show are the park's two rescued grizzly bears, Coola and Grinder. Lumberjack and Birds of Prey shows also thrill crowds multiple times each day in the high season (attendance depends on how quickly you complete the hike).
Non-hiking option: For those that would rather enjoy even more time at the top, our guides offer discounted tickets on the Grouse Mountain Gondola Skyride.
The adventure continues when you've reach the top! Enjoy some free time to explore the numerous complimentary attractions that the mountain has to offer including the resident grizzly bears, lumberjack show, birds of prey show, zipline, cafes and restaurants, theatre and more.
Forgot to pack a lunch? No worries. Grouse Mountain offers a multitude of options for you to purchase meals or snacks to keep you energized including the Grind Coffee Bar, Lupins Cafe and Altitudes Bistro.
Download Skyride ticket (i.e. hike to top and take gondola down) included with tour. The skyride takes you high above towering Douglas firs, breathtaking views of the city of Vancouver, sparkling Pacific Ocean, Gulf Islands, and snowy peaks unfold as you journey up the mountainside. North America's largest aerial tramway system is your gateway to the majestic nature of The Peak of Vancouver, and an experience in itself.
The Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge towers about 50 metres (167 feet) above the crystal clear pools of Lynn Creek and is situated amongst a 616-acre temperate rainforest.
On a hot summers day, you have the option to take a short walk from the suspension bridge to the enjoy the cooling waters of Twin Falls.
Twin Falls in North Vancouver is a captivating natural attraction tucked away in the scenic Lynn Canyon Park. These majestic waterfalls cascade gracefully amidst the lush greenery, creating a serene and enchanting atmosphere. Visitors are invited to explore the surrounding forest trails, cross the iconic suspension bridge, and marvel at the beauty of Twin Falls as they bask in the tranquility of this idyllic setting.
