History and passion for engines, cars, motorcycles, and bicycles; a truly must-visit era, in my opinion one of the most beautiful in Europe... a lot of Italian spirit from its ingenuity to its design.

Great to arrive after lunch on way to Verona and there's hardly any other customers there. Toured at our own pace w/out guide. It was 78°F outside & every floor of museo was getting stifling hot. On the hospitality level, the doors are open to terrace letting in more heat. Soon arrived a school group of teenagers via motorcoach. They weren't there to view the collection or learn anything. They were only there to sprawl on the few chairs in the bldg, stare at their phones, & use the vending machine. Museo should require guides with school groups AND keep the indoors at a comfortable cool temp.

Museo Nicolis beautiful and super curated: a really fascinating collection that is worth absolutely the visit. I recommend the guided tour, because it makes the experience much more engaging. I did it with Valentina, very good at explaining, prepared and passionate: it made the route even more interesting and pleasant. Highly recommended!

Founded in 2000 by Luciano Nicolis - a businessman passionate about old cars - this automobile, technical and mechanical museum has become one of the most important and beautiful museums dedicated to cars today. The museum boasts an extensive collection of precious and impossible to find today car-related objects collected all around the world by Nicolis - motivated by his great interests in cars and mechanics. There are 8 collections totaling over 1,000 objects that tell the story of how man has overcome the challenge of distance in both time and space.
The objects on display are divided into eight themed categories: automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, musical instruments, cameras, typewriters/computers, motors, racecars and military objects. Among the most rare pieces, you will find the first motorcycle to run on gas from 1882.
