Brilliant theater and a fabulous show. Drinks bar at the interval was really easy, and order your drinks on arrival to the theater. Bistro restaurant opposite the theater was nice and would recommend for any early arrivals.

I wanted to see Oliver! Instead and very disappointingly I had to watch the Simon Lipkin Show. He totally ruined the production for me. Whenever he felt like it he came out of script and cracked whatever joke he wanted. He dragged out whatever he could to get cheap laughs all night and in short he totally ruined the character, throwing the real “Fagin”, totally under the bus for the sake of his own ego. I can’t actually believe that the creatives are letting him do this to be honest. I appreciate this is just my opinion and for the most part it sadly appeared that most were getting sucked in by his “pantomime”. So yes many are loving it but not me I’m afraid. I felt vert saddened that he feels it’s OK to do this to such a fantastic story with such vivid characters. The talent oozes off the stage, the kids are ace and for me it was all overshadowed by a man with a misplaced ego in this occasion.
