Durham may be known for its history and culture, but you'd be missing out if you visited without exploring its food scene. Eat like a local and discover the best eateries, hidden gems and the city's indoor market on a small-group tour. Take in its charming cobbled streets and riverside along the way, with views of the cathedral and castle.

Sharon provided a great food tour of Durham. Interesting hearing some snippets of history along the way. Absolutely loved every stop on the tour. All varied and plentiful! A nice mix of different food and drinks and a great start to the tour sampling an unusual but delicious beverage! An absolutely lovely way to spend an afternoon. This is my 5th food tour with Triple A and I can’t wait to try more!

Just done the Durham food tour with Sharon after doing the grainger market in December 25. Would highly recommend Sharon she was an amazing guide full of knowledge regarding Durhams history and really engaging more like a tour around Durham with your friend than a guide. Difference between Durham and Grainger market is the amount of food and drinks you get. Large measures and loads of delicious food at the different restaurants. Meeting Mark at Market hall wines what a way to start the tour - could have stayed there all day - great crack - will defo go back and buy from his shop. Real highlight of the tour ???? Did the tour with wife and family from Durham who really enjoyed the tour and learned loads of interesting facts about Durham they never knew. Looking forward to doing another triple A tour but Durham is a great tour to start with and would do it again, well done Sharon ????

We have just finished a fantastic Durham cheese and wine tour with our host Julie. There was a small intimate group of 6, stopping at 4 lovely venues in Durham that we would never go to before. All of the food, wine and knowledge of the areas were spot on and Julie was a fantastic host! Highly recommend

We take a culinary journey through Durhams famous indoor market. As we wonder through the isles, we sample food and drinks and chat local traders.
We explore Durham’s finest independent food scene. Stopping off at a number of local restaurants, we sample both local and international cuisine. Drinks are included at every stop. Alcoholic drinks are offered but there is always a non alcoholic alternative st every stop.
