A tour with a difference

An excellent tour. Julie was fabulous, very personable and very knowledgeable! The restaurants visited were all amazing with fresh and delicious food and drinks. Well worth booking and will be looking to book on some other tours in the North East.

Honestly didn’t know what to expect, but what a blinkin’ great day. We were a group of 6, the other 4 knew each other, so it could have felt like we were the odd ones out, but what a great bunch we joined. They really added to the experience. The tour was great. More food than I could manage and the drinks kept flowing. We went to some restaurants I wouldn’t have known about or found wandering about on my own, we enjoyed some lovely food and met some lovely people - guide, restaurateurs and the group. Bit of history thrown in, and yes if you’re from Durham you may know some of it already, but it’s great to hear Julie talk about it so passionately. So SO glad we booked this last minute. Wonderful day. Julie was great and the tour was very good value for money. If you’re sat pondering about it, just do it.

Durham food tour

Fabulous tour! Julie was a great host we learnt a lot about the history of Durham: The cathedral, castle, old market. The food was varied we tried Chinese, Spanish had beautiful deserts, visited an independent wine merchant in the old market and learnt the history of this and the market square and statues.
