Overview
Enjoy a hands-on introduction to the cuisine of Zaragoza during this two-in-one market visit and cooking class. Meet in the city center in the morning, and head first to the Mercado Central, where you’ll meet vendors, will purchase seasonal ingredients, and will see how locals shop. Great cooking class and market tour

Had a great time with Jorge. Very delightful to have him give us a little history of Zaragoza while shopping in the market. All the food cooked was delicious. We had tortilla, paella, a local potato, vegetable and jamon dish, tomato salad and torrijas with ice cream. Really recommended.

Jorge was amazing! I learned so much about cooking and the food of Spain. I came home and my first two days Home made the Spanish Omelette and Paella for my family. The recipes we’re so easy to replicate with George’s instruction. My family loved both meals! George also included incredible wine with each course. The class didn’t just include cooking. I was also informed about history, architecture and culture. It was amazing. Jorge and Marta are the best! I really liked that they did not cancel tour because I was the only English speaker. I had a one on one tour. Wow. Just wow. Don’t pass up any Rutica 41 tours.
Great time cooking in Zaragoza

Our tour started with a warm greeting from native Zarragozan Jorge and then a trip to the central market where we bought ingredients to make 4 delicious dishes- tracitional tomato salad, a layer veggie tapa, tortilla española, and torrijas (dessert). We strolled through the old city to the beautiful Zarola cooking school. Where we cooked, chatted and ate. Jorge is very knowledgeable about the region and customs. I’m excited to replicate these recipes at home. This experience was a great start to our stay in Zaragoza. I highly recommend it!
