Overview

Get to know Québec City and its top attractions on this guided sightseeing tour from Montreal. The full-day adventure begins with hotel pickup in downtown Montreal. Climb aboard a comfortable motor coach and enjoy the journey to Québec City, with commentary from your guide along the way.

Explore Old Québec, the historic heart of French Canada and the capital of the province of Québec, with its narrow streets, stone buildings, and European feel and learn about the city's history and culture.

Visit Place Royale, often referred to as the birthplace of French America, and the beautiful Plains of Abraham, where the famous Battle of Québec between the French and English armies took place in the Seven Years’ War in 1759.

Then follow Avenue Royale through the traditional villages and farms of the Beaupre Coast, just north of Québec City to visit Montmorency Falls, a 272-foot (83-meter) waterfall on the Montmorency River (taller than Niagara Falls).

After the tour, there is ample time to explore Old Québec at leisure. The tour ends with a return trip to Montreal and hotel drop-off.

Dreamy Quebec

melycris_d, Mar 2025

I had the best time on this day trip to Quebec with my mom! From start to finish, everything was so well-organized, and the experience was unforgettable. Our tour guide, Katie, was incredibly knowledgeable and made the trip so much more enjoyable with her insights and fun facts. The driver was also the best—super safe and made the journey smooth and stress-free. Every stop was fantastic, but the winter waterfall was absolutely breathtaking! Walking on the frozen lake was such a surreal experience. And when we arrived in Quebec City, it was like stepping into a fairytale—so gorgeous! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and well-guided adventure. Can’t wait to do it again!

Was it worth it? YES FOR SURE. but still has somethings to make it better

Geon_J, Feb 2025

I will say the truth everything was good except for short time in Quebec city itself. Little short tour with guide understable she was nice person. But I sincerely think going to the Montmorency Fall was unnecessary. Yes it was beautiful but I rather stay in quebec city for longer time. I wish if there is like choice to go to the fall or keep stay in the quebec city.

Great experience from Montreal

It’s timely and precise. The guide was quite knowledgeable and a polyglot. The tour itself is quick but we got tips for our free time.

Absolutely exceptional!

Our recent Quebec tour with Viator was absolutely exceptional! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the local history and culture, making every stop feel truly immersive. The itinerary was well-paced, offering a perfect balance of sightseeing, delicious local cuisine, and unique experiences. We especially loved the Montmorency falls. Viator went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable and comfortable trip - highly recommend them to anyone visiting Quebec from Montreal.
