My wife and I had an unforgettable four-hour boat tour on Lake Como, and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we stepped on board, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a beautifully maintained boat. The views were breathtaking—cruising past historic villas, charming villages, and the stunning mountains reflected on the water. To make it even more special, we enjoyed a bottle of champagne on board, which added a romantic and luxurious touch to the experience. Our captain was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to every detail. He made sure we had plenty of time to relax, take photos, and soak in the beauty of the lake.

I must say that the lake seen from the boat has a whole different flavor. The villas, the landscapes, are all much more visible to remember the magic of this enchanted place. Captain Corrado acted as a cicero telling us anecdotes and stories of the lake very interesting and was very kind and professional. I hope to return soon because it is really worth it, thanks guys from Boat Me for the fantastic experience on Lake Como.

We will leave from Varenna along the lovers' walk (If the meeting point in Varenna is chosen)
We will depart from Menaggio and turn right, towards the south. (If the meeting point in Menaggio is chosen)
Once out of Varenna we can admire the lovers' walk, a short pedestrian path that leads from the Varenna pier to the center of the town; a walkway cantilevered over the water from which you can admire the lake and the mountains.
We will then pass by Villa Cipressi, a prestigious complex of ancient buildings and splendid gardens enriched by a magnificent botanical garden, with stairways and terraces that descend to the lake.
Next we will meet the Villa, one of the main historical and environmental landscape sites of the area, thanks also to its privileged position. The complex is made up of the villa itself, now transformed into a Museum and also home to an internationally renowned Conference Center, and the splendid Botanical Garden that surrounds it, extending for almost 2 km following the shore of the lake.
We will then cross the lake and head towards Punta Spartivento, the watershed of Lake Como, the extreme tip of the Larian triangle that divides the two branches of the lake. It enjoys a wonderful panoramic view towards the north.
Next up is Bellagio, known for its cobbled streets, elegant buildings, and the Paarco di Villa Serbelloni, an 18th-century terraced garden overlooking the lake. Nearby are the Torre delle Arti, home to exhibitions and performances, and the Romanesque Basilica of San Giacomo. Near the rocky beach of Loppia is the Museum of Navigation Instruments, which displays sundials and compasses.
Coming down from Bellagio we can admire the park of Villa Serbelloni
We will pass by the famous hotel and SPA Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni, a 5-star luxury hotel, once also called Bellagio Castle.
The English gardens of 1815, enriched by sculptures rich in rare and exotic plants, there are centuries-old trees, hedges of camellias, woods of azaleas and giant rhododendrons, stones and monuments, boats and relics of historical and artistic value.
We will then reach the western coast of the Como branch to arrive in Tremezzo, a well-known village full of hotels overlooking Bellagio. (Tremezzo is among the meeting points for the start of the tour)
We will then admire Villa Carlotta, famous both for the art collections preserved inside it and for the vast botanical garden that surrounds it.
Sailing south we will encounter the imposing building in an eclectic style between neo-Romanesque and neo-Gothic.
The Gulf of Venus is the suggestive stretch of Lake Lenno, the inlet following the promontory of Lavedo which on its southern summit sees the splendid Villa Balbianello
On a peninsula from which you can enjoy enchanting views of the Lario, this elegant and romantic 18th century residence and its amazing garden have hosted writers and travellers, today the Gardens and the villa can be visited, in the 4-hour tour it is possible to get off and visit the gardens. We remind you that the purchase of tickets is mandatory and at the customer's expense.
Villa la Cassinella is a private residence on the western shore of Lake Como, a few hundred meters from Villa del Balbianello. The entire estate is immersed in large, perfectly manicured gardens.
The Villa is a historic residence in Ossuccio on Lake Como. The two-hour tour now crosses the lake to skirt the eastern shore and take you along the banks of Lezzeno
Ossuccio is a town of pre-Roman origins. In its hamlet of Ospedaletto stands the famous bell tower of the church of Santa Maria Maddalena. In front of the town is the Comacina island
The only island on Lake Como, its canal hosts, in summer, bathers who want to cool off with a dip in the lake. It is possible to swim safely.
We will then head towards Laglio to admire Villa Oleandra, George Clooney's home.
We will then admire George Clooney's home
We will cross the lake to reach the eastern coast and the village of Nesso, a village clinging to the steep banks of the lake.
The Civera bridge, a Roman bridge rebuilt with a medieval shape from which tourists love to dive for incredible shots.
Going north from the eastern shore we will meet Lezzeno, a village with a 7km coastline.
We will continue sailing to reach the meeting point in Varenna
