Overview

Albi is definitely a southwestern city. As the whole south west part of France, it is a land of duck (duck confit, foie gras), cheese, Gaillac wine, and rich, terroir food like the cassoulet or « aligot and saucisse » (mash potatoes with local cheese and sausage). But it is also a city where skilled and dedicated artisans live, such as artisan boulanger.

With our Albi Food Tour, you will explore its historical center while discovering food specialties and meet passionate and warm people.

Taste some of the region’s most significant dishes in a unique, fun and one-of-a-kind experience in which you will experience three hours as a local in the company of a local expert who will tell you curiosities and anecdotes about the local food tradition.

Great Guide, Great Food, Great Time

Scenic23604325042, May 2024

Nastia was an outstanding guide. Being from Albi, she knew all the great eateries, and shared lots of the area’s history. Very pleasant to converse with (excellent English) and had a good sense of humor. All the food was excellent, but the surprise was the echaudes, a brick of a pastry, but delicious. Highly recommend Nastia and Albi.

A gentle stroll and a filling lunch

darraghrichardson, Apr 2023

Gentle stroll through Albi with a local who seems to know half the population! Several nice stops to taste local produce before a hearty lunch at the end. Nastia was a very kind and patient guide as we had a couple of young kids and I would recommend the tour to anyone who is passing Albi. It’s a bit in the expensive side bit you do get a full meal and some treats to take away also.
