Overview
Meet your group in a central location and embark on your walking and tasting tour through Nassau.
Get off the Bahamas tourist trail and visit some beloved downtown eateries where you'll learn local cooking secrets from the chefs and entrepreneurs who are at the heart of Nassau's culinary scene.
Stop and sample delicious food in a variety of venues, including a family-owned Bahamian soul-food restaurant, an art gallery and craft cocktail bar serving up locally inspired dishes, and more.
Between tastings, you’ll wander the leafy streets of downtown Nassau, soaking in stories and history from your local guide. Admire the colonial–era architecture and get a feel for the local culture. Your guide will also be able to share recommendations and tips for the rest of your trip.
You’ll conclude the tour with a satisfied belly and a new understanding of downtown Nassau and Bahamian cuisine.

History through food!

!!!!!LISA!!!!! We had an amazing and educational tour with Lisa. We walked around downtown Nassau and learned about the history and culture of our food and its people. Lisa was very informative, engaging and interactive tour person! Definitely go with an empty or near empty stomach as you will get a lot of food! Highly recommend this tour experience. My mom and I would go on this tour again in a heartbeat!

We had the most wonderful time with Captain Ron! The walking tour was absolutely perfect and probably one of the best things we’ve ever done at Nassau. We got to see some amazing sites learned a lot about the Bahamas sampled some great food and had some awesome drinks! I’ve been to Nassau at least 10 times but this was, by far, the most enjoyable experience I’ve ever had. We highly recommend this tour and will be doing it again with other friends and family during our next visit.
